Stretch YOUR MIND

Mind and body fitness is a routine that each person has to take serious. When doing physical fitness your body needs to stretch first to get the muscles warmed up. When learning something new the mind has to “empty” all other distractions to have room for the new thoughts. Once the person clears out the negative thoughts and distracting thought process your brain can absorb information much better and you will be able to remember it a lot better too. When setting your workout routine you have to set realistic goals and make sure you reward yourself whenever you accomplish them.
A few books to check when looking to exercise the mind and body!
1. Art of expressing the human body – Bruce Lee
2. Touch points for Men
3. Art of Worldy Wisdom
4. I Ching
5. Metu Neter

Take time each day to meditate your thoughts and plans and then decide the actions you want to take to make them ALIVE!

This comes after 50 years of being the spotlight leader defending socialism in the western hemisphere. The USA has sanctioned a trade embargo on the island of Cuba to try and squeeze the Cuban population to rebel against his governement and economic policies. Castro handed over power temporarily to his brother, Raul, in July 2006 when he underwent intestinal surgery.

Haile Selassie I (BOOKiDO History 101)

Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974 . The heir to a dynasty that traced its origins to the 13th century, and from there by tradition back to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, Haile Selassie is a defining figure in Ethiopian and African history.

On December 13, 1960, while Haile Selassie was on a state visit to Brazil, his Imperial Guard forces staged an unsuccessful coup attempt. The coup d'état was crushed by the regular Army and police forces. The coup attempt lacked popular support, was denounced by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, and was unpopular among the Army and Police forces. Nonetheless, the effort to depose the Emperor had support among students and the educated classes. The coup attempt has been characterized as a pivotal moment in Ethiopian history, the point at which Ethiopians "for the first time questioned the power of the king to rule without the people's consent".

Bruce Leroy is a bad mutha.....

THE FOLKS AT PRECISE MINDS SENDS ANOTHER MOVIE REVIEW(SHOUT OUT TO THE CHI-TOWN TEAM)Yeah people it is I again ready to give you a little flashback of Black Culture through cinema. Now, it is Black History Month so it's only right to(re)introduce to the young-heads one of my favorite movies of all time...The Last Dragon starring Taimak and sexy Vanity(excuse me Denise Matthews...she turned to the LAWD). Trust you'll wanna watch it for the fact she's in it, acting wise...thats another story.Besides that it was directed by black director Micheal Schultz(Car Wash, Krush Groove) and produced by Mr.Motown himself, Berry Gordy. The Last Dragon is one of those love/hate it cult films and it definately screams early 80's and Kung-Fu movies with NYC as the backdrop and aesthetics of a Sunday morning Karate flick it's interesting to say the least. From "Bruce" Leroy liking the girl(Laura Charles) to getting the girl, to battling with ShoNuff of Harlem the supreme nemesis, to reaching the pinnacle of ones training to receive the ever-powerful"GLOW." This film shows how far we have come since then to creating various, positive, entertaining plots where our black characters are concerned. Hindsight is 20/20, so with this film they were heading in that direction towards positive roles for African-Americans. Take my word or ask your cool ass uncle about The Last Dragon and maybe he could school you on the art of catching bullets with his teeth........NEGRO PLEASE!

Wyclef tears down Seattle

International ambassador to HAITI came in Seattle and burned fire for the massive!
Lighters were in the air, the bass player was rocking to reggae tunes, Wyclef freestyled in creole, spanish, arabic and played the electric guitar at the same time. He perfromed for over 2 hours straight and had the crowd waving their Tshirts in spirit of the Carnival. He even had a song dedicated to Obama and the room went crazy! Big up to Wyclef and his management team for the tickets and possible interview in Midnight Special documentary.
Get a copy of Carnival II for a fusion of world music and substance.

Obama Sweeps states over Clinton!

This election is for the first time pulling young voters to the polls and maybe putting in the white house a person who actually worked for people in the housing projects and was against the war in Iraq from the start! He is running a campaign off ordinary people donating money and support.Keep Pushing!
