The search for a piece of music history is most valuable in the form of a vinyl record. Collectors, DJs, music fans and old uncles have keep their most precious collection of music in a 12" incl sleeve. I have recently stumbled upon on a collection located in a friends "closet box" that was forgotten about. Inside we find an entire colleciton of Jimi Hendrix, Tom Waits, Ray Charles, Led Zepplin and even a few sheets of baseball cards with Ernie Banks(1958 Home Run champion) in it. Nice and neat next to a "The Harder they come" soundrack cover between a Billy Joels and Lightin Hopkins record.
Use technology but dont lets technology use you. Playing on a turntable is still the best way to "feel" and " hear" music. No diss to APPLE and the iPOD!
